I love purely mail - I am a user since 2020. I have a regex match for emails, which allow me to create emails for services on the fly: p.<email service name plus some random characters>@domain.com and bam, individual inbox and easy to throw to spam / discard. Also easy to send based on that email to family members - netlifx, hbo (are you - YOU?).

But I am looking forward to the price change - now 10 USD per year is more than enough for what i need, but they are right, emails are hard and without proper financing this is unsustainable. I remember people asking here on hackernews in the past about the bus factor, and at the time it was just a single dev. So all those years I treated it like this - was ready to abandon ship at all times.

I liked the original $10 per year pricing because it was simple and easy to justify. The direction feels different after the management change, and I have less confidence now. The new website redesign does not help; the UI feels generic, looks auto-generated, and lacks polish and clarity. If you raise prices, you need to show clear value with better UX and visible improvements. Right now, I do not see enough improvement to justify a higher price. If pricing goes up, I will likely switch.
